The webcam is back online (at certain times of the day, usually in the evening). We moved this past weekend. A huge "Thanks!" to the Carpenters for helping out and snagging a truck for us. Brad will be truly excited to know that as it turns out, we moved into the same apartment complex as Steve Motts. We even use the same little mailboxes as him. It rained a ton and even snowed a little bit today. I finished another audio book today, "The Brethren" by John Grisham. It's pretty good, but the ending wasn't quite as good as expected. Please e-mail me if you need our new phone number and/or address. =)

We celebrated Miguel's birthday at Boomtown a couple of weekends ago. Visit our photos page to view his birthday photos.

Last weekend we attended the northeast Reno's Celebration of Successes at the Boys and Girls Club. The music was too loud (band's name was "Good Question") and a little weird (70's 8-track funk via the DJ), but the free food and ice cream was good, and the kids got to pet a horse. We went to another quieter park (Pickett Park) afterward and the kids (Becky, Mari, Miguel) played on the new playground equipment.

Other recent activities include: General Conference, walks at Mira Loma Park, took care of Bonny for a few days whilst the family was in Idaho, watched some movies (Jet Li's "The One", "10 Things I Hate About You", "Dinosaur", "The Land Before Time: The Big Freeze", "Shrek", "Goldfinger", "Deep Impact", and "A Tale of Two Cities"), went to the Dollar Store and got a bird, nabbed some new shirts at Factory 2 You, and went driving around exploring Sparks - there are some nice houses out by Queen Way, if you haven't seen them, it's worth a look. Found a street called "Richards Way". =)

Okay, everyone knows about Krusteaz (the pancake mix), but the real question is how is it pronounced?: "crusties" or "crus-TEASE"? I hope it's the latter, as the former is just disgusting. We stopped by Sonic Drive-In and I tried their fairly new grilled chicken wrap thingy and Misti tried their banana creme pie shake thingy. I thought mine was okay, but Misti loved hers.

Recent updates: the news page (this page), the photos page (you'll need the username and password to access them -- if you've forgotten or never received them, just ask), the gripes page, and I'm creating a new page to feature my Neopets activities. It's not done yet, it's just getting started. Also, about the webcam being offline for a month: we're both in the middle of computer upgrades, so the webcam has been offline, and will probably stay offline for another month... sorry.
