Well, I finally got to try some of "Bertie Bott's Every Flavor Beans" (as featured in the Harry Potter movie). Brad Carpenter had some, so I just had to at least try some. I tried the Grass, Dirt, Black Pepper, Spinach, and Vomit flavored jelly beans. Needless to say, the Vomit was the worst. All were pretty accurate. I didn't have the guts to try the Sardine flavor, though.   =(

I have made the startling discovery that there are actually a couple of people at work that have never tried dipping their french fries into a chocolate shake. We took an informal poll, and most people had, but there were two highly strange persons (that will remain anonymous) that haven't tried it. Weird.

We recently went to the Northeast Reno branch of the Washoe County Library to return some movies and check out a book, but I was highly disappointed in their DVD selection. Settled for some old Hitchcock movies on VHS instead.

Well, both Jessie Garate and Jesse Garate made the news this time: Jessie was baptized last week and Jesse just had a birthday. Jessie is so smart and just growing up so fast. After the baptism, we stopped by Gene and Ronda's for some rootbeer floats and got to meet some more extended family on Ronda's side. We went to Jesse's birthday party and got to see and meet some more extended family. Shawn was there with Keith (he's so big now!), and Tony and Tonya, as well as Vicky and her brother Rick and his wife and son.

We went to a Mervyn's grand opening today and also to Target and ShopKo to get some new clothes for Becca and Misti. Becky likes to hide under the hanging racks of clothes and play "meeka-ba" (pick-a-boo) with daddy.   =)
