Well, we visited the Hidden Valley annual community garage sale today, and somehow only spent $9.70. We ended up with a trunk overflowing with stuff, including a bed for Becky. Crazy.

Becky finished the Washoe County Library System's Summer Reading Club 2005, (entitled "Dragons, Dreams and Daring Deeds") today. She read and/or was read to for a total of 12.5 hours over the summer. She crossed off a sword for every 15 minute segment, and after each 10 swords, she got to slay a dragon and collect a small prize from the library. After 4 dragons and another 10 swords, she got to storm the castle and collect the grand prize (a free book)! She selected "The Berenstain Bears: Big Bear, Small Bear", and read it all by herself in the car on the way back from the library.

I recently tried Crest's Cinnamon Rush Whitening Expressions toothpaste. Luckily, it was a nice mild cinnamon, not a burning hot cinnamon. I also recently tried the new Diet Rite Pure Zero cola. It's their same great cola as before, simply repackaged. I saw a million people we knew tonight at Walmart. Very odd.
