We celebrated Becky's birthday at Boondocks in Meridian on Saturday. Mini golf, bumper cars, and bumper boats made for an exciting albeit wet afternoon! Idaho pizza and a great birthday party with wonderful gifts rounded out the evening's celebration. Thanks to everyone involved!
In recent software patches and security flaw news, Adobe Reader 7.0.8 has been released, as well as 12 new security flaws being patched with Firefox 1.5.0.4. (I don't think anyone's still believing all that "Firefox is the most secure browser" hype anymore...)
Adobe is just being stupid, not letting Office have PDF exporting capabilities, although there will be a free plug-in available to enable that key functionality. Adobe is lame! (Meanwhile, the rest of us just use OpenOffice to do the job. Of course, OpenOffice has security holes, so...)
Okay, I know everyone already knows this, and has already complained about it, but why is it that Firefox can't properly view the source code of a page? It's always got to try and change things like adding extra font tags and closing tags, thus showing you something other than the real source. UPDATE: this only happens when viewing selection source, not just page source. Very weird.
