Old Purple Network + Burgundy Badgers

On Friday night, I completed a 2-week CompTIA Network+ night class at ExecuTrain. In theory, I've learned enough about the OSI model, subnetting and network hardware to pass the Network+ exam - but in reality, I think I'll read, review, and take the practice exams a little more before going in...

Two funny/odd websites we've recently enjoyed: badgerbadgerbadger.com, and purple.com. Yes, they're pointless, but still enjoyable... Oh, and round 7 of Oilfight is now over. I came in approximately 25th.

Tonight, after a long three 5 years of nightly reading, we finally finished the entire Old Testament (King James Version) of the Bible. We started on December 13, 2001, and read a chapter or a fractional chapter (depending on chapter length) each night since. Yeah, it's a long book...

From our starting post:
"The Old Testament, however, has 929 chapters, so it's going to take us about three years to finish! (That's a lot of reading.) It's worth it, though, and we'll be happy to say that we've read the whole book, as many people haven't."
We recently tried some burgundy olives - but we're not fans. Yes, we love green ones and black ones - but the burgundy ones, no. They taste kind of hot (spicy) and with an odd plastic aftertaste. Bleh.
