Olmec Hercules and a Baby Toaster

We saw three mice in our house a week ago. After a full week, lots of bleaching and cleaning, about $50 worth of Tupperware, $15 worth of d-CON & glue traps, and a lost toaster^*, we haven't seen any more. (Knock on wood.)

Lots of archeological news this week, including the Olmec writing stone, and the fossilized 'Little Lucy' baby.

I watched a super old 1960's TV version of Hercules on DVD, but the two episodes included on the disk featured two different actors... Hmmmmm. Anyway, the two titles were:

• Hercules and the Princess of Troy
• Hercules Against the Mongols

Good stuff!

^*One night recently, it was dark and Misti came into the kitchen and flipped on the light and a mouse was on the countertop gnawing on a wooden spoon, and promptly jumped into the toaster. Well, needless to say, the toaster became a coffin and is now residing in a landfill somewhere not too distant...
